| How do ratings work? | ||||||||||||||||
| You can rate each location on the site by clicking on the colored bar rating scale--1 being "not recommended" to 10 being "highly recommended." Your rating is compiled with other users' ratings to give each location an overall score, which appears on the right side of the listing's profile. | ||||||||||||||||

| What am I rating | ||||||||||||||||
| Consider the overall experience of your visit and provide a number to reflect that. For example: If you are rating a restaurant and the food was excellent, the service phenomenal and parking a breeze, then you would probably want to click the bar between 9 and 10, or "highly recommended." | ||||||||||||||||
| Back to top | ||||||||||||||||
| Why rate and write a review? | ||||||||||||||||
| Rating a location allows you to simply score your overall experience. Reviewing a business lets you share detailed insight about the good and the bad of your experience with other Citysearch users. | ||||||||||||||||

| What do I say in a review? | ||||||||||||||||
| If you were describing a place to your friends, what would you say? The best review provides a clear explanation about why you liked or disliked a restaurant, shop, bar, hotel or spa. Describe the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, the food. Why was your experience good or bad? Was it a good value? Would you recommend this place? The more details, the better. | ||||||||||||||||
| Example: "Overall, cool interior design, very solid steaks (try the 'three filets'), and the corn creme brulee and cheesy gnocchi were terrific sides you don't find at any other steakhouses. Service was a bit leisurely, but definitely would go back." | ||||||||||||||||
| Feel free to come up with clever titles for your review and don't be afraid to write in first person or to be honest. You have 2,000 characters (approximately 500 words) to say what's on your mind. Please avoid obscene and malicious comments. If your review is loaded with these types of remarks, we cannot post it on our site. See terms and conditions for more information. | ||||||||||||||||
