Kid Rock Editorial Review
In Short
Bob "Kid Rock" Ritchie grew up in small-town Michigan and came into his own in gritty Detroit, where he fashioned his unique blend of sounds. A trademark greasy look and high-profile relationship with Pamela Anderson defined him almost as much as his several hit songs. In 2003, he released "Kid Rock" (Atlantic), which seemed to complete a transition to blue-collar, rock-country hybrid that had been creeping into his work for years.
