TOO MUCH CIGAR SMOKE. EVERYTHING IS NICE GOOD FOOD NICE PEOPLE . BUT THE CIGARETTE SMOKING IS BAD ENOUGH SOMEONE WAS SMOKING A NASTY CIGAR . I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GAG ON MY FOOD. MY GIRLFRIEND AND ME LEFT AND WE BOTH SMELLED LIKE A DIRTY OLD ASHTRAY. WITH THE TREND BEING TO QUITE SMOKING I CAN NOT SEE WHY THEY SUBJECT THERE CUSTOMERS TO THERE SECOND HAND SMOKE . I WIULD THINK THEY WOULD AT LEAST INSTALL HIGH END SMOKE EXTRACTORS.

Great Bartenders and fresh made-to-order burgers. Great Bartenders-ready with a new drink as soon as you're done. Also, very friendly and accomidating. They make you feel so comfortable. The food is very good, too, try the fresh made-to-order burgers or, when they have it, the goulash - yum! They have great TV's especially at the bar, where you can see everything in beautiful HD.

Great Burgers and Great Service. my husband and I grew up in this area and have been coming for years, the burgers are fantastic!!!!!

The service has never been a problem either. Fast and friendly always. Totally affordable. Worth giving it a try if you have never been...

Karaoke addicts mingle with sports fans and regulars, and the bar boasts one of the friendliest waitstaffs around and a truly eclectic CD jukebox. Stables serves up a juicy bar burger, and the menu ranges from appetizers to chili to burgers to porterhouse steaks. Fat-conscious patrons can opt for the grilled chicken salad. The cook will grill the onions upon request.

The Livonia version of Cheers. The Stables is clean, well run and has great bar food. This is a bar women can feel safe walking into alone.

Stables has two sets of customers. During the day they cater to the lunch crowd and a group of regulars. At night there is a younger crowd, the music is louder and the atmosphere changes completely. Most customers are from the area and have been coming to the Stables for a long time. It is a good place to meet new or old friends. They keep a close watch on the beer to make sure it's always cold and the place is very well ventilated. Cigar smokers are welcome and there is a good selection in the humidor behind the bar. If you are looking for a friendly crowd, good burgers and homemade soup with different specials each day, try the Stables. You won't be disappointed.

The best service around!. As stated in a different review... this bar is very smoky. But you can't find better service at any other bar in the metro Detroit area. The waitresses and bar tenders really know how to take care of you. They'll make sure your drink is always full. Try the house shot: The Stablizer!

Where I have ate my whole life. There is nothing better than coming home from college and going to the same bar that your parents used to take you to in the afternoon, except now you go at night. The hamburgers are the best and you CANNOT have better french fries anywhere
