My husband took me to Cranbrook on our first date. We brought a blanket and laid down under a tree. The surroundings, the smell of the flowers...it was very romantic. Cranbrook became a favorite place for us to relax on a sunny afternoon. We had our wedding photos taken here so that we can cherish the memories forever.
Pros: Free!, Peaceful, Beautiful grounds

The Cranbrook grounds are exceptionally beautiful and well manicured. The campus has plenty of area to stroll through or bike. Also, there is plenty to do at Cranbrook from enjoying the lush gardens that surround the main mansion (Cranbrook House), to perusing the art museum, to scoping out the Science center and taking in a laser show.
