I stayed at the hotel on a business trip and I will never stay there again. You see the name St. Regis so you expect a high level of service. The in-hotel restaurant service was slow and room service was non-existent - it never showed up despite several calls to the front desk and room service line. The duvet covers in my room were stained -- I don't want to know -- with something. My co-worker found a used prophylactic device in his trashcan when he checked into his room. The staff offered to remove the trashcan and replace it rather than moving him to a different room. He had to demand a new room forcefully before he was able to move. The hot water worked 50% of the time. The staff was nice enough to remind me that I shouldn't walk or take a cab at night which was decent of them.

To anyone ,who is going to dine out ,there is a place in Detroit I would highly recommend for them to try the "La Musique" restaurant ,in the St. Regis Hotel. My sisters and I stop by there this past weekend --We were greeted in a kindly manner and the Food we order was exquisted,(we order a Seafood platter ,then Desserts ,that the chef prepare just right for us)even his presentations were ELEGANT-complements to you CHEF Mike -The Manager of the restaurant Craig ,keep checking to make sure everything was just as we order, and it was. His service was so kind ,so pleasant , our waiter Mike, also was hospitalable. This restaurant caters to a mature crowd , as I found out that this was Fashion Week here in Detroit and The St. Regis Hotel hosted this event .To sum it up ,EXCELLENT,there even was a live band that was playing Smooth Jazz -Yes ,Welcome back St. Regis,.and to the staff of the restaurant- My sisters and I will return again and tell others-----KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK-----MRS.GPM
