Just moved here and was in desperate need of a haircut. Kim and I decided on 'barbers choice'. I have no regrets! Great atmosphere and service. I recommend.

Wow...this place is awesome!. I first heard about Gentlmen First in the Detroit News. They were voted Best Barbershop In Michigan and I must be honest, I thought "whatever, they probably know somebody". I was pleasantly suprised though when I went there to check it out. I walked into the ultimate mens getaway! The place is decked out like the ultimate barbershop. Motorcycle hanging from the cieling, Craftsman work stations, they didn't miss a beat. So I sat down for a minute and started reading a Playboy (for the articles) but was attended to quickly. Michele cut my hair and honestly I think it was the best haircut of my life (and she wasnt hard on the eyes either) This is my new "get away from everything for a short break" place. Highly recommended.

Great place for a great haircut!. I'm pretty picky about my haircuts and I've had some pretty bad experiences. But after going here I've decided that "this is the place!" First, it their sweet set-up. Its cool, like 60's with a flair. Once you get in theres a Harley-like motorcycle hanging from the ceiling, the waiting chairs are comfortable and "different" like the best one is the old barbers chair. I didn't wait more than 1 min because I called in for an appointment 30 min ahead. The stylist, "Michelle" was sweet and she knew exactly how to cut my hair. Plus shes in a band called Bazooka Jones. Now thats just awesome!

Like Family. If you have any doubt that Gentlemen First is not the best, than I say give it a shot and I promise you will not be disapointed. From the second you walk in the girls know your name; the longest I have waited was no more than 20 minutes; they always have the best variety of magazines for adults; and Cheryl really does a superb job "thanks Cheryl".

This Is Not Your Grandfathers Barbershop. I love going to Gentlemen First. It's my excape from a crazy day. The girls, the shop, everything about this place is a guys dream come true barbershop.

I Love This Place!. This has got to be the best barbershop there is. Excellent haircut and a very comfortable (and unique) shop. The service was very, very good. The stylists are friendly and I was made to feel at home. It's nice to get out of the salons and back to something just for guys. Thanks ladies, see ya soon!
