Lucky to have Cafe West downriver!. Cafe West is the best restaurant in Michigan! We are lucky to have Cafe West in the downriver area! The fresh fish is outstanding with many daily specials. The oysters are fresh and can be served raw, fried or rockafeller style. (Not many places downriver serve oysters) The crab cakes are deliciousand full of fresh crab meat. The fresh salmon can be prepared in two different ways. If you ever have special needs, Chef Blake is very flexible with meal preparation. Very nice beer and wine selection. The homemade desserts are great-- Key Lime cheesecake is very different but in a good way! The service at Cafe West is number one. We always feel welcome from the host to the server to the busser. If you need assistance picking a dish, the staff is very helpful. Don't be afraid to ask! Highly recommended.

Great seafood / atmosphere. This reminds me of a great seafood restaurant you would find on a beach somewhere with fresh seafood and a laid-back atmosphere. Everything is first class, from the seafood to the wine list. Service is very good as well.

Best fresh salt water fish around !. Cafe West has the best fresh salt water seafood around. It has a nice dining room and great wine list !
