Outstanding. The owners obviously care about coffee... *REAL* coffee. This is not Starbucks or restaurant coffee. This is the real deal, my fellow coffee snobs. Very nice layout. I think they have wifi. Wish they served beer so I'd have a reason to spend money in the evenings... and they'd have a reason to stay open later. The food offerings are nicely thought-out, but just stuff that they bring in from elsewhere. This isn't a place to go if you're hungry, and would like some coffee. This is the place to go if you want coffee, and they'll be some food. I haven't been there in maybe a year, but I went about 20 times right after they opened. I hope that they are attracting enough coffee snobs to justify the extra bucks that they spend providing the real thing.

Best Espresso in Detroit!. I used to go to Italian town in Windsor (Erie St.) for a cup of REAL espresso. It tastes exactly as in Italy. Don't have to do it nomore - Cafe De Troit has filled city espresso gap. It's about time somebody started treating espresso making as an art!
