I have gone to this Aveda Location many times and my service has always been great. Usually the service is done well and the entire staff is friendly. But the last time I went, I was extremely dissatisfied. Though my haircut was supposed to began at 2:30 in actuality it started at 3:15. Usually I’d be fine with this, but I had told them that I really needed to be out by 4:00. I had an event I needed to go to straight from the salon. I told the girl what I wanted to see done and she assured me she would do it. Part of the service is that they need to check with an instructor before they began any cutting or washing. The girl doing me hair (When I asked her about this rule) responded “Oh well whatever” and shrugged it off. Then the girl doing my hair told me that she would have to “leave” in the middle of the haircut. She left without so much as a goodbye. By now my hair was wet, and already 3:45. Another stylist took over and started cutting. I was much happier with her service than i had been with the other stylist even though she did chop off more than I wanted and hadn't given me any tips on how to style it in the future. When I arrived downstairs to pay, and asked how my service went, I told them what happened with the first stylist, and the man checking me out, said “ Oh” and that it was the end of that discussion. I left the Institute very un-satisfied with the service I received. This was the only time I have left the institute disappointed so if your willing to take the chance of being disappointed, don’t mind bad customer service, and love a cheap haircut, Aveda is a good place to go.

Pros: Cheap, Good Parking

Cons: Bad Customer Service, Un-professional stylists,
