Awful. Yesterday I ate here, and the atmosphere/decor of the restaurant was very nice. I ordered the cheese plate appetizer and the pork tenderloin dinner. When I got home a couple hours later, I was overcome with a terrible case of food poisoning. I was sick all night. I do not recommend this restaurant, unless you want your $30 meal to be in the toilet.

Great food in unassuming environment. Recently my wife and I took her mother out to dinner here. Between the three of us we selected a good array of items from the menu (fish, shanks and steak). Each of us are somewhat picky when it comes to food. Atlas Global did not disappoint. We all loved it. I'd agree with another reviewer, this place is on par with best moderately priced restaurants in Chicago and San Francisco. The service was good, but not intrusive. The environment was inviting and not stuffy. Some patrons were dressed up, others were casual. Since we've gone we've told everyone we know about this place. We'll definately be back. Valet parking also made it very easy for someone not familiar with the area.

top notch service and best food around!. My husband and I have been to Atlas quite a few times over the past year. Every time we go, we are NEVER dissapointed! We now bring friends , and every one of them has been equally impressed by the experince. The ever changing menu is something the chef should be proud of, along with the well educated staff. (We usually have the same server) Although we do not get there as often as we like, every time we plan a night out to Atlas, we greatly look forward to it. This restaurant is top notch and classy, and the service is always impeccable!

I will never be back. The only thing good here was the service and the downtown atmosphere.

The food was very over priced, and lacked taste.

I will never go back, and not recommend anyone else to go.

There are too many good resturants to eat at in the city, this isn't one of them!

The menu is very limited.

best bloody marys at Saturday brunch. A MUST for Saturday Brunch. I went for my Birthday, and I had the best experience. I found a gem in Detroit where I could get a drink at Breakfast, that was not crowded like the Breakfast Place. I sat at the bar, where my seafood eggs benedict (must have) was served on a linen napkin (at the bar!!!!!) Look for Walter, behind the bar, he makes the best Bloody Marys, using his own secret recipe. TO DIE FOR. I almost don't want to tell anyone about this place for fear of it getting too popular. A very classy place, where your every want is taken care of. NOT expensive either!!!!!!

The best restaurant experience in Detroit. I've been here three times and each time it's been quite lovely. Good meals, whether it's appetizers, entrees or desert, really pleasant service, a relaxing and unpretentious atmosphere, but still elegant. Probably the best thing Detroit has going for itself right now as far as I can tell. This restaurant would do well in New York, in San Francisco, anywhere. Top class.

They have the best appetizers and the best seasonal changing menu. I am so excited that they are doing wine dinners their next one is on September 20th with clos du val wow I also love the fact that they change their menu every season for summer and fall. No one does a better job of staying on top of the food evolvement than their chef Christian Borden. Gooooooo Cheffffffff

An eclectic menu with continental flavor breathes new life into this restored beaux-arts hotel turned restaurant.. In Short
With its soaring ceilings and vintage wood bar, Atlas is a wonder to behold. Saved from the wrecking ball, the trendy bistro gained admirers among the city's glitterati and food fanatics. Breakfast favorites include waffles with caramelized bananas or eggs spiked with chorizo (spicy Mexican sausage). Lunch features Kobe sirloin burgers and Asian noodle wraps. Dinner is a worldly affair with everything from gravlox, a cold salmon appetizer, to New York strip steak.

45th anaversity best time ever. The care given us at the Atlas was better than we have had for a long time. The food was great, Unique, presentation was beyond expatations, service was jonny on the spot but NOt pushy. at 5:30 the dining room was full. the wait staff kept a close eye on all there tables. Best thing a different menu every day. I would go back in a heart beat.
