Awesome!. Just so you know, they are finally remodeling the exterior, but who cares as long the food is great, right? I only went there once and had the lunch special, but it was fresh, quick and affordable. To me that's almost all you can ask for. Enjoy!
Horrible. I had some Sushi from here 2 days ago and it was really bad. Not very authenic Sushi. Disappointed.
The best sushi. This place has the best sushi. It won Detroits best award in 2008. Small from the outside, but well worth checking out. They also serve Korean food as well
I love O'sushi.
I work here at O'sushi as a waitress and love both my job and the food! I've been working here for a a year and a half now and became addicted to the food that I even come on my days off to eat.
The fish is so fresh tasting due to the knowledgeable and experienced sushi chefs that work there. Being a sushi chef is truly a prestigious job in my book. You have to know how to cut fish, know all the variety of different kinds of fish, how to keep fish fresh, which part of the fish is good to serve and which isn't, etc.
The presentation that these chef display with sushi is truly art. Not only does is visually please the eye, but also pleases the stomach!
I've gotten both family and friends hooked on this place. It's not surprising we got Michigan's best Sushi restaurant 2007! I take much pride working here and hope that whoever eats here have a wonderful experience both with the service and the food!
Osushi, OsoSAD....
If this is good sushi, people of the D need to get their tastebuds checked. Maybe the cold weather has somehow stunted your judgement.
First off, the place is owned, run and has sushi chefs that are all Korean. Last I checked, sushi came from the land of the rising sun. OK, so Fishbone's is also staffed by non-Japanese and their sushi is passable.
Next. The fish is NOT fresh. I tried the salmon, tuna, snapper, shrimp, yellowtail, mackerel, octopus, crab, etc. and nothing particularly jumped out at me as fresh. Not bad, but not good.
Hot foods were all too spicy or Korean style. Nothing sadder than a Korean restaurant trying to make Japanese food. Why not just make a Korean shop? Bi-bim-bop is great, so is Bul-goh-gi. Stick to what you know and people will be happier.
Location. If you don't know exactly where this place is, you are going to miss it. Which I guess isn't such a bad thing.
OK, so maybe I am a snobby NYer, but seriously folks this place is simply not very good. You can pick up comparable sushi at your local grocery store and save yourself some cash in the process.
Osushi is OsoSad.
Love it!. From the outside its very small so you may pass it up. Seriously dont. Its awesome! The food is great and plentiful and the service is friendly and kind. I am totally addicted!
