Food Was Not The problem. Hey I went here because I was told it was a cool place to go on a first date. We sat at the bar because the restaurant was super crowded on a Friday night. I had no problem with that because it allowed us to see the Piston's game. I asked the bar tender for her suggesions on a drink and she could not give me one. The food was awesome. However they allowed a guest to come in who was very drunk and bother everyone. He talked to my date and I for over twenty minutes. He told me I needed to get out of my seat because he always sat there. I even watched him try to take food off another guests plate before she smaked his hand.
Ridiculous. So on my third visit to this "upscale" restaurant, I encountered some horrific things. For starters, my food was UNDERCOOKED and had to be sent back to the kitchen. I happened to look toward the kitchen to find that the "cook" had no hair net or hat on, and she also had like foot long fingernails. Please spare me the unsanitary standards of food preparation. Anyone for lamb chops? My father and I really looked forward to eating them yesterday. By carefully cutting each chop, I was hoping to savor the flavorful moments. However, I was shocked when I arrived at the fourth and final lamb chop to find that someone had taken a bite out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes! A BITE...WITH TEETH!!!!!!!! For reasons of absolute disbelief, I was at a lost for words. The waitress appeared as though she did not believe that someone else bit my food and returned the plate to the kitchen. There were bellows of laughter coming from the kitchen as my family sat at the table in complete shock. No one from management attempted to apologize for this ridiculous display of customer service. The waitress only returned offering more food that had the possibility of being licked or bitten again. The only recourse we received was credit for my meal. Yeah, that made me feel really valued as a customer. Needless to say, I will be contacting the management today to inform them of this incident. Hopefully they have a better idea of how to properly handle a situation like this....Then again, they probably won't........
Why bother if you are disrespected.
To Whom it may Concern,
We booked reservations at "THEY SAY" restaurant
on approx. July 16th for a party of ten.
On July 28th we called back and confirmed and increased our head count to 16.
We arrived for our 4:30 reservation at 4:10. And was informed that there was no reservation for us.
Our party of 16 was informed that we could be served on the patio, which was in the sweltering sun.
We were given no sensible excuse for the restaurants cancellation ,and was left to find other accommodations without any notice , with 16 people in tow.
The planned celebration was for our son, who is in the Air Force and is being deployed overseas.
The entire experience was disrespectful to say the least.
And just basically BAD BUSINESS.
