Editorial Review for The Capital Grille – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
The Capital Grille has long been a meeting place for executives, as the ambience fits perfectly into the upscale Somerset Collection, where prestigious retailers such as Tiffany & Co. and Coach reside. Elegant and classic, the Capital Grille is warm and inviting and offers something for everyone--they're known for their steaks, but also impress with blue point oysters and Atlantic lobsters. The strawberries Capital Grille is the signature dessert.

Insider Tips
ParkingAlong with standard parking for the Somerset Collection, the Capital Grille also offers valet parking to customers. This is an excellent idea during evening hours when the mall is at its busiest.
Look GoodAlthough a jacket and tie are not required, business casual at the very least is the norm.

The food here is always wonderful, fresh and well priced. The manager is very friendly and makes you feel as if you enetered their kitchen. The service was fantastic - so caring and attentive. The citrus glazed salmon was unbelievable! My husband had the Kona encrusted strip steak which melts in your mouth. The strip steak was charred to perfection and there was not a drop left on the plate! The wine was affordable and wonderful. The chocolate dessert was scrumptious. The wait staff was professional, courteous and made our evening so special. This place is certainly on my short list of great places to come back to. Wish I could eat here every night.

Our new favorite place, the food is a little expensive, but well worth the experience. The place is very clean, the servers are very professional and the food is out of this world. They have one of the best wine list in oakland county.
Pros: Everything about this place
Cons: none
