With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.

No thanks.. The only reason Dennys exists is because of people too drunk to taste their food at 3 AM. The potions are small, and the taste is horrible. The service really depends on location and server, some good some bad.

you're kidding!. The Denny's around Detroit are dirty, poorly maintained, badly decorated, understaffed and the food, which is marginal at best, is very overpriced. Virtually every menu item, which can be found at numerous other restaurants done better, is priced 1 to 3 dollars higher than competitors.l

Bad food, bad service. this place has horrible service-- wait forever to be seated to be served by a miserable person who doesn't feel like working--- oh-- then you wait forever for your food. ughg

nighttime bliss. Denny's is a great place to go on the weekend at, like, 3am. The food is good--not the best, not the worst. Service is usually decent, but when I've been at the bar for the past 5 hours, "good service" isn't really the first thing I think about. It's usually moderately busy there, and it's a really casual, comfortable atmosphere.

awful. Denny's is probably one of the worst places I've ever eaten. They're always out of something, the service is terrible and the food less than desireable. I've been to 3 different states and they were all bad.
