Stay away from these apartments. I moved into westlake apartments because they are clean and kept up very nice. Then I realized that was the only good about the apartments. For starters they are very disrespectful with noise. They would have people doing work on the apartments starting at 7am when I was trying to sleep with a newborn baby banging right outside my window. The sprinkler systems are aimed right on the walk way and also go off all morning long so while I was carrying a baby outside to go to work we would both get soaked. Then there was my continious infestation of bees in my apartment that took maintenance a week to address each time. Thank god nobody in my house is allergic to bees because the apartment staff would'nt have cared. Finally, when it was 5 weeks before it was time to move out I went to the office to give my written notice and was told no need I was all set and just turn in my keys when I leave. 2 months later I get billed for another months rent for not turning in a 30 day notice. Do yourself a favor and do not let the outside appearance of this apartment fool you.

HORRIBLE living experience. I have lived here for almost 2 years now. I chose the place b/c the apartments are spacious and the community is beautiful. That's where the positive things end. As long as you never plan on having to interact with the management you should be okay, however that is almost impossible. To name a few specific problems: security deposit magically doubling last minute, my car being towed out of its spot just to be moved 100 yards so the parking lot could be repaved rather than asking me to move it, constant construction noise, lazy/inadequate management, poor communication (i.e. explaining terms of the lease), management's inability to process maintenance requests, lack of care for the tenants when a problem is presented...the list can go on and on. If this is just a short stop, and I mean short, then by all means, sign the lease at your own risk, however if you are looking for a place to live that will give you no hassle and a place you would love to recommend to a loved one or friend, Westlake Apartments doesn't even deserve the last place on your list.

The most horrible experience of my life.............. I lived here for two years, and had the worst experience of my life. I wouldn't recommend this property to my worst enemy. The staff is ridiculous, and the people treat you horribly. They mess up your billing, and break into your apartment without notice. They make up ridiculous reasons why your bill changes every month. I am FINALLY free of this place, and thank my lucky stars everyday. I am not being dramatic, I don't know how else to tell you NOT to live here. Just don't make the same mistake I did.

doo-doo. I've been living here for a year and a half and the staff ha proved that they don't care about their tenants. We complained a month ago about a leak in the bathroom ceiling that is molding and causing the ceiling to cave in, no action was taken. We aslo complained about are neighbors who allow there dog to relieve itself on their balcony, no action was taken. So if you like moldy bathrooms and the smell of dog doo-doo, this is the place for you.
