It seems to me they dont want there business?? Im not middle eastern but growing up in Dearborn i was very offended how rude the wait staff was treating a table next to me. the way i seen it was ONLY because they were of Arabic decent. It was so obvious but i was surprised the people didn't make a complaint?????
Love it or hate it.... The burgers are A+++ hands down. With a big chunk of american cheese, with or without a giant slice of onion, you cannot beat these burgers. But I've seen folks get all hot about the price, outraged that they cost a couple bucks more than McDonald's. And boo-hoo, our Vegan friends could not eat kelp and soybeans... Cry me a river. If you want a good burger and a cold beer, bust your butt on over to Miller's. Leave your vegetarian friends in the parking lot.
Winning Combination - Unique, Great & Keeps it Simple. To make a long story short, if anyone complains about Miller's Bar, they just don't get it! Miller's is no B.S. - just great burgers, made from fresh ground round, served to you on waxed paper...you can make it a cheeseburger, get onion rings, or fries, and there are maybe 4 other things total on their menu. You can get Miller's High Life on draft - or beers in a bottle - or a mixed drink which they'll be generous with - they free pour like 'the uncle" in every family that liked his parties! The bar is not long on ambiance - the first time I was in Miller's was in the late '60's as a kid - the last interior remodeling they did was 1976 - note the "bicentennial-like" sheilds on the wall mirrors next to the booths in the front room! The place is usually crowded at lunch & at dinner - if you like ground rounds & haven't tried Miller's - check it out - it's an old-school mid-20th century throwback of a place & has a certain charm to it...if you don't like it, then go to some pre-fab chain restaurant instead & make the line shorter for all the others that want a Miller's burger - thanks!
Best Burger.
Best burger in se mich! the burger is seared on a flat top so it sizzels in it's own fat the whole time. for those of you who think grilled is the way I have one thing to say to you "YOU CLEARLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT" American cheese, no other options even, fries have a nice day! rude servers? who cares I'm there to enjoy sweet sweet cow. No vegetarian option? I'm sure you're kinnd will die off soon anyway. No paper check? really thats a problem for you?
In closing if you are looking for the best 2 to 1 / 80-20 burger in the metro this is your spot, if not stay home
Nice Family....not so great bar. Miller's Bar is an institution in this town...but I don't know why. The burgers are nasty and the drinks and service aren't that great. We made the mistake of taking a vegetarian to this restaurant...there were no options...they wouldn't even make her a grilled cheese...it was rude. But I think it was just our old waitress. The Miller Family is super nice but improvements need to happen to keep this "institution" alive.
AWEFUL!.
Simply put WORST BURGER I have ever had. I would give it zero stars but it will not let me.
I would prefer eating at McDonalds or BK over having their burger. After reading GQ's review ranking them #8 in the country I found myself extremely disappointed after my first bite which just got worse as I continued. I do not mind the food being served on wax paper, or the rude server, I can deal with that. What I can not understand is the onion rings, it is as if they walked down the street to Kroger's frozen foods section and grabbed a bag of breaded onion rings that had freezer burn and served them. The beer (Corona) was even bad (possible expired).
My taste buds will not forgive me for this experience.
If you are looking for a great burger in the Detroit area Red Coat is far superior in every way.
Bah! Humbug!. Frozen burger patties with no seasoning. Rude waitress. No menu, no paper bill provided (At least, a menu with prices posted on the wall would have been helpful), no plates, no silverware, no frills. However, expensive (they even charged for water) ! Save your money, and go elsewhere.
over rated. All this talk about the best burgers. I went there and was let down. 1) tables are jam in there and theres no room. 2)the waiteress was rude (sorry that you had to do your job!) 3) the food was exspensive. I woun't be back.
Dirty ole bar burgers!. Why would you want to come here and eat burgers cooked by a dirty guy with long hair , tattoos, and no gloves?? i have no idea. it s no better than McDonalds and more expensive. They upcharge for everything...by the time you pay your bill, your greasy burger ends up costing you $7.00 !
Over rated. After years of rave reviews Millers is over rated! The atmosphere is dated, the food is fair. twice my carry out order was wrong, (always in their favor). You can get get better burgers elsewhere in Dearborn at Howell's and Beirgarten.
