Worth it!. I seriously love Mongo Bongo; choice ingredients, fun staff, and the joy of getting to pick exactly what goes into and on top of your meal. It's a little pricey but totally worth it every time!

Interactive chain lets you select the ingredients and spices, then watch as they are stir fried in front of you.. In Short
Mostly families and groups fill the large dining room at this laid-back, loud and hip restaurant. Colorful walls are decked with funky paintings and posters. Choose from an array of meats, crisp vegetables, oils and spices. Throw it all in a bowl and ask the people at the grill to stir fry it for you. The chefs are armed with swords as their primary cooking utensils and can be as flavorful as the dishes.

Best trendy restaurant in the area. This is absolutely my favorite restaurant. It's pricey, but it's also all you can eat, so if you wait all day to eat here, you'll get your fill. You make your own stir fry by picking which meat (only pick ONE meat, as they all have different cooking times and one could burn while the other might be undercooked,) which veggies, which spices, and which sauce YOU want. It's pretty great. The waitstaff is usually very friendly and upbeat and the cooks at the round grill oftentimes do tricks when they're cooking your food. They even all say thanks when they see someone put a tip in their jar. Overall, their food is awesome, the service is great, and it's highly reccomended for the 18-25 group.

old ways better. I love the way you are able to make your own dish~~If it is not good it is your own fault and go make another ~I dont like the new way of not putting your sauce on the bowl then on the grill~putting it on at the end is not enough time to let it cook in ~I am a rule breaker I still put in on first!!!!

Great food.. Great food as long as YOU know how to cook! You put the ingreadients they cook it for you. So if you don't like the way the food taste you can't cook! :O)

My Favorite Eatery!. I visit the Dearborn location as often as I can! Clientele build their own custom stir fry recipe from the plethora of fresh meats, seafoods, vegetables, spices and sauces, which are then sauteed and grilled on a large round griddle! The chefs have on occasion chanted, sang and performed tricks while preparing my dish. Rice and tortilla shells are also served with your dinner.

Fun and funky atmostphere. I prefer to go here with a date or a group of friends. Liqour is also available!

Food & Fun!. This place is just bursting at the seems with lots of energy! It's like Chinese, YOUR way! A wonderful fresh assortment of raw meats & vegetables, that you combine anyway you like (or they will provide recipie cards), then you give it too the cook and watch them fix it right in front of your eyes. The grill people are always enthustiac and seem as though they enjoy their jobs! The servers are always friendly and provide great service! And if you take the kids the staff goes out of their way to make them enjoy it! Especially with the big GONG! Oh and if you don't like the food, you have no one to blame but yourself!
