Salon West: Out of Business??. This salon is by far the best salon I've ever been to, however a couple of years ago my husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas for $150.00 and I didn't spend all of it right away. I called to ask if there were expiration dates on them, I was told they never expire. I have 100.00 left on it and recently tried to schedule an appointment, only to find out that they must have gone out of business because I have been unable to contact them, the number is disconnected, does anyone out there have any thoughts? Did they move locations, or is there anyone who might honor any outstanding gift certificates? Moral of the story: Use your gift certificates immediately, no matter what their policy- you never know when they may go out of business : (

Jennifer is the Best. I've had many hair stylists ruin my hair or give me a horrifying cut. As a result, it has been difficult to relax in a stylist's chair. From my very first visit with Jennifer, I was completely confident. She is amazing and I am happy to let her do whatever she wants knowing that she will make my hair look great with a style that works with my face and body.

Mona is the most talented hairstylist. I was feeling frustrated with my stylist and decided to try a new salon. I decided to drive to Dearborn and give Salon West a try. I scheduled an appointment with Mona after reading positive reviews of her hair styling skills online. She is great!

She gave me a great cut that she thought up on her own that would look best with my features. I don't keep up on trends and appreciate a stylist who stays current by attending classes and trade shows. She is very personable too. I even scheduled my next appointment on the spot. She is really talented and I highly recommend her.

I drove all the way from the Troy area in Oakland County just to have her cut my hair. Highly, highly recommend Mona.

JENNIFER is incredible!!!!!!!!. I am VERY particular about my hair and I think Jennifer is outstanding!!! She is great at color, cut, sytle, etc. She makes recommendations when I need one and is very knowledgable about her profession. Her prices are lower than most high-end salons, but her skill is top notch!!! I was recommended to Jennifer from a co-worker and am grateful that I found her!

WOW!!!. This was one of, if not the best salon experience that I have encountered. I have traveled throughout the U.S., and felt that this is not only Metro Detroit's "best kept secret"... but truly an upscale - high-end - salon that deserves the recognition of being one of the top salon's nationwide. The upbeat, friendly staff from the receptionist to the owner, was more than I had anticipated! The services were incredible!
