My sister works for a cab company and she told me that after 30 minutes they cancel the request if the customer doesn't call back. Just to make sure that the drivers know you are still waiting. Call back at 20 minutes to remind them, but don't call too often because the dispatchers can only do so much.
SOMETIME YOU HAVE TO WAIT – What I don't understand when people write there review they never start with the truth.YOU WILL WAIT EVERY WHERE YOU GO> IT NEXT WERE EVER YOU GO.When you stand in line to get free things you wait, you got to the airport to board the plane you wait.All I am saying is sometime you have to wait and it is not always the person who answer the phone who is at fault, some time you have to wait
GREAT – My driver was so amazing. Making conversation, a warm car and everything else you need with a taxi driver. Very kind.
shady taxi service – Ride from The Henry Ford to downtown Detroit took 50% longer with a 50% greater fare than on way down. Also had to ask driver to turn on meter. Following the map, clearly took the long, long way. Shady service

the taxi driver sounds really drunk and wasted .. he was rude he kept looking at me made me feel really uncomfortable i just wanted to get my stop safely .. and when i got out he i paid him .. and he asked me for my phone number !!!
i really don't know what the kind of sick workers are working in that company

Very unprofessional – I called Lorraine Cab company at noon, the neighborhood I live in is not the easiest to find so I made sure I told them they city in which I live. Needless to say after 30 minutes no one showed. So I called again and repeated the information. Waited another 30 minutes still no cab. I made one final attempt at a little after 1. The dispatcher was so rude to me. I explained to her that I called over an hour ago and before I could finish she yelled "No ones in the are" and hung up. I will be reporting her.
lorraine cab co. – I HAD CALLED LORRAINE CAB, CAUSE I HAD A FLAT TIRE AND NEEDED TO GET TO MY DESTINATION. THEY WERE VERY NICE TO ME AS A CUSTOMER ON THE PHONE. THE CAB HAD ARRIVED TO MY HOUSE WITHIN 20 MINUTES. THE DRIVER WAS VERY NICE AND POLITE TO ME. I WILL ONLY USE LORRAINE CAB FROM HERE ON OUT WHEN I NEED A CAB TO PICK ME UP.....
ALL AROUND A GOOD CAB COMPANY, AND VERY FRIENDLY AND POLITE PEOPLE TO TALK TO.
I RECOMEND LORRAINE CAB TO EVERYONE.....

happy – i had left my wallet in the cab, the phone operator stacey went to as far extent of calling my auto insurance company to track me down to get me my phone back. i was flabergasted on how she went so far to get me my property back.

Completely unreliable. Horrible dispatch. Lack of communication between drivers / dispatch. – Missed my flight due to the cab being late by ~40 minutes. I made a call for a cab approximately 45 minutes before the pick up time and got a confirmation. At requested pick up time, cab never showed up. 10 minutes later, I called dispatch and was told that cab is on its way and will be at my home "less than 5 minutes". 10 minutes later, I called again - once again told "less than 5 minutes", in an increasingly irritated and rude manner. Cab finally showed up ~40 minutes late. The driver told me that he only got the call approximately 10 minutes before he arrived; i.e., he got the call 30 minutes AFTER the initial and confirmed pick-up time. End result - missed flight. I will be staying away from Lorraine from now on.
Dispatcher needs Discipline – Dispatcher was very rude. I told him I needed a cab at a location between 12:15 and 12:20...instead of just putting the time he yelled "WELL WHICH ONE IS IT!!!"...I have never ordered a taxi so I didn't know that a five minute difference would make somebody so mad as to yell at a customer... then just like the other complaints said...HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!
I will give him credit for telling me that he will send one out although I didn't call an hour in advance, but how is everybody in the world supposed to know they need a taxi an hour in advance when they didn't even expect to have to call one until 15 minutes prior to the time they got off of work?
