In Short – Founded in 1979 by Riad Shatila, this old-world bakery has legions of fans that savor its Lebanese pastries and ice cream. Its treats are so popular it's not unusual to see out-of-state license plates crowding the parking lot. The baklava reigns supreme, made from tissue-thin pastry covered with crunchy walnuts or pistachios and drenched in pure butter and sugar syrup. Lines are long, but the reward at the end is sweet.
Great place to buy sweets

Shatila is a great place to buy middleastern sweets. We always buy sweets from them whenever we travel to visit friends/relatives. They love it!!
Pistachio Ice Cream

Pistachio Ice Cream. Pistachio Ice Cream. Pistachio Ice Cream. Pistachio Ice Cream.
You may have had Pistachio Ice Cream elsewhere. From baskin robbins... From cr@p stone creamery...
but none compare with the pistachio ice cream here. Seriously... I was driving an hour down here for a week when I first discovered Shatila's Pistachio Ice Cream!
- Pros: Pistachio Ice Cream. Pistachio Ice Cream. Pistachio Ice Cream.
- Cons: I don't know... I was concentrating on the Pistachio Ice Cream.
