Mexican Fiesta. Great food; however, there's too long a wait after food is ordered, and food is often lukewarm. It may be the fault of the waitress/waiter who may let it sit too long on the counter. I haven't been there in about 6 months, so hopefully things have changed. In any event, I rank Mexican Fiesta right up there (3rd) behind Xochimilco and Mexican Village.…
The Best!. I have been going to this restaurant for more then 15 years now; it's my favorite mexican restaurant by far! The decor is warm and inviting, food & salsa are fantastic, even on busy nights the wait is never very long and food comes out much quicker then expected. Super yummy!…
Best Mexican Cuisine in Michigan.
Everyone from the detroit area knows Mexican Fiesta, but if you're not from the area..........
Great food, Phenominal prices, and good fast service.
Fiesta is good for a night out with the guys or a first date. It's very versatile.
The food is a little greasy, depending on what you get, but I've never gotten a bad meal from Fiesta, and I've been going there for over 20 years.
P.S. - Call ahead on Friday and Saturday nights, it's always packed then.…
Awesome chicken and cheese enchiladas - enough for two people!.
I have this reviewed on my blogger blog. I love this place, I go all the time, usually to the Canton location.
This is easily my favorite mexican restaurant in the burbs. I have been going here since I was small and so I know the menu well. I will be honest in that I usually get the same exact thing in here as I know it is the best.
James and my favorite meal in here is the Chicken and Cheese Enchiladas. The corn tortillas are dipped in an Anaheim pepper sauce and are stuffed with white and dark meat chicken that is so very tasty. The enchiladas are covered in a delicious white cheese and are so delicious. You can get three for 9.50 and split them with a friend (or husband) or take half home and have a great second meal that reheats like a dream. They come with your choice of two sides, either cole slaw, refried beans or spanish rice. You can't go wrong with any of them.
My parents are hooked on the Botana here, a deluxe nacho type dish with refried beans, mexican sausage, the incredible white cheese and all manners of veggies and sauce. It is quite tasty but wow so filling. They can split a mini one. If they do not get this my father usually gets Beef and Cheese Enchiladas while my mom orders a Chicken Chimichanga. When they do this they too have a second meal after.
Again I can actually review alcohol here as I have had it. The margaritas are tasty and big. The jumbo is happy enough but they also have deals on half liters and liters which was most appreciated by my former coworkers. Its definitely reasonable in my book. You can get a pitcher of Sangria for 8.00 and my parents are big fans of that option. Beer and mixed drinks are reasonable and they even have ice cream drinks, so fun!
We come here at least once a month and are never disappointed. One big tip is to ask for hot chips to go with your salsa, guacamole and/or queso. They charge fifty cents but it is a world of difference, trust me. Everything else is a bargain at any rate.…
I seriously can't believe people crying about paying for hot chips! The food there is superb!.
I've lived near this place all of my life and I still say it's the BEST Mexican restaurant in Wayne County, yes, I said County.
I've been to plenty of other Mexican restaurants for comparison too. I go to school in Detroit so we've frequented Mexican Town, I've been in San Antonio, Texas' Mexican restaurants, and even MEXICO!
This IS authentic Mexican food. I don't know why people are going to cry about $1.50 for hot chips and salsa. You aren't paying to just "get them heated" you're paying for the tortillas that they use to make them, and the home-made salsa. Tomatoes aren't cheap people! Also, I wouldn't say that it's "watered down tomato paste!" It is NATURAL salsa that's fresh. Some people prefer chunky, some people prefer hot, some people prefer w/o chunks. I find that their salsa is refreshing and doesn't leave one with nasty smelling garlic 'n parsley breath!
Their beans and rice are sooooo flavorful!
I don't think they're expensive at all. Their prices are very reasonable and they give you a TON of food. Other places that I've been to were more expensive with smaller portions.
BTW they make FRESH BREWED iced tea. You should try it. It's not the nasty NESTEA fountain junk.
The waitresses have always been friendly to us.
Yes, people ARE human and sometimes forget that you asked for extra sour cream, straws, etc. I'm sure it's not easy trying to remember 10 different people's requests when you're serving multiple tables. So keep that in mind and stop complaining.…
