Homey and Fresh!. Their fresh baked pies & breads are wonderful! The portions are very generous, but my absolute favorite is their blueberry pancakes. A half order is plenty for an average appetite, and they are filled with fresh blueberries!

Good Times Good People. Kates Kitchen is the Best restaurant ever!

i wish i could eat there everyday, but i can only make it on sat. which is the best day to go because of the HOT cashier she is like whoa, and the pudding boy is the mack daddy

Biscuits that taste like baking soda. It's nice to go to Kate's early on Sunday mornings in the Summer, you have to wait in a long line most the time, so in the Winter it's cold. When you get in the door you can sit as soon as a table opens. There is no smoking inside & that is GREAT!They have great cinnamon french toast, made with homemade bread. Their pies sell quickly, as most of the baked goods. Their hours are 6am-2pm. I do not like the biscuits they taste like baking soda.I also do not like the hashbrowns, they taste like they are boiled before fried.(yuck)I wish they would change those two items. I usually do not eat Lemon Meringue pie, but their's is very good.

Best hot beef sand. Off the beaten track. Great food pies bread rolls, and everything served

This restaurant is DIVINE!. The atmosphere is homey, the waitresses are harried, and the food is to die for! It is a good home cooking kind of place, but whatever you do, do not leave with out a pie. The breakfasts are the best and if you want to get in and out quick, arrive before 8:30 am, after that be prepared to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. There is limited seating, but for breakfast the wait is worth it!
