The Best BBQ and Long Island Place around. Shame on you Amanda Abulawi....you were given the opportunity to work at the Golden Feather...you knew about the banquet menu and how it worked...SHAME ON YOU for posting this particular comment ALL OVER THE INTERNET...SHOULD HAVE LET YOU GO you we're not a good employee. golden feather bbq garden city. Worst service ever to have a banquet of any kind! rude service seemed to overwhelmed and they said unlimited buffet which we paid for 900 dollars plus gruituity and they didnt even give enough food out and complained about it. This is outrageously expensive and food was not up to quota. What happend to these people. They are not customer service friendly at all. All they care about is the money they are recieving.This was for my grandmothers memorial dinner and 12 people ended up leaving because the bad service! I was so ashamed to even bring my family members there. Unhappy customer.

Great Food Great Drinks. Been frequenting this restaurant for 20+ years and the food has always been great and the Long Island Ice Tea is consistently good! Service has improved in recent years and the new tables and chairs just add to awesome dining experience!

Salty ribs and poor choice of potato side. No Baked. Had the ribs which were Very Salty. Could not believe we couldnt get a Baked potato as our choice of potato. Waitress was invisible for the most part. The place has steaks on the menu and doesnt offer a baked potato. Asked the hostess she explained they dont have them. Cole slaw was typical pre made from a food distributor. The iced tea I had was like colored water. We will not be going back any tie soon Kind of regreted not going to alexander the great in westland. There ribs are good Nothing special but consistent in there product. It is a nice building and nice seating to bad the product is sub par

What a freaking joke!!! Janky, backwoods restaurant!!. I went here with 12 of my family members yesterday, for my birthday and my aunt's birthday. Some of us came as far as Traverse City and Howell. The waitress was lazy, nearly all of us had empty glasses and had to beg for refills! My fiance asked her what was on the reuben and she obviously didn't know and was faking her way thru the answer. I asked her to replace the alfredo sauce with vodka sauce and she was very confused by this (although vodka sauce was clearly on the menu), and argued with me that vodka sauce IS the exact same thing as marinara!! I complained to the old lady manager who couldn't have cared less. They also refused to split the checks up for separate payment!!! Claimed they couldn't do it. But they were dam* sure they were able to put the 15 percent gratuity on there for the waitress who took absolutely no pride in her job!! This was my fault because i actually went to this restaurant a few months ago with my friend who raved about it and we had a pretty bad experience there then also. I waited 15 minutes for a fork, and my friend was at the register waiting around to get the bill because the waiter was taking for ever. My friend had set his money down on the counter, and when the waiter finally came up, he picked his money up and moved toward the waiter. A young hoochie-mama hostess then exclaimed very loudly to her coworker, "That OLD MAN just RAN OFF with those two twenties that were here!!!" my friend yelled back at her, "uh HELLO!!! it's MY money!!". she simply said "oh" and didn't even offer an apology. I will never go back to this cesspool of sh** and degradation to the customer!! I hope they go out of business. what a hellhole.

Give them a try!!. We have been loyal customers to Golden Feather for over 30 years now. There have been some changes to the restaurant that will make you want to go back if you were disappointed in the past. Gone are the hostesses that cared more about there looks than seating customers and the manager, Pat is GONE!! The new manager actually talks to you and is VERY pleasant. They recently got new chairs in the restaurant and it looks awesome!! Give GF a try- you WILL NOT be disappointed!!

Very good, always great ribs. We have been going to the Golden Feather for years, have had many delicious meals, cant recall having any problems. Place is clean when we have been there, think the bad reviewers may have caused their own problems. RIbs are great, not baby back, but very good, and the sauce is good. Highly recommend

NASTY. come on y'all, I had better chicken at the popeyes. we went to this nasy place to get some bird and taters an all we got was the nasty. this whole place was dirty and our waitress was nasty too. she aint even got no sense to wash her shirt. the chickens was cold and the rbs look like some things from the 7-11 then I got the bill and it was all messed up. thought you got free refills on the lemonade, but I was wrong. oh well there goes your tip. here a tip for you. wash your nasty butt.

last chance. we tried the Golden Feather one last time, Sweetest Day, I had hoped that our last visit there was a fluke, but I was wrong. The portions were small and the drinks were thin. I cant begin to tell you how absolutly flthy the mens room was, I am sure the ladies room was no better. The only pleasent part of our visit was our waitress, a very nice lady. We wont be back.
