STAY FAR AWAY,,,WON'T TAKE OWN COUPONS. These owners nickel and dime everything and the staff is terrible, the pricing is very high for a local eating spot. They won't honor there own coupons sent from website to print out. This place is way out of date for us and many others, I'm telling hundreds about this very bad eating spot.

Fergies Fish.
I have been coming to this restaurant for over 40 years, back to the Scotty Gall days. I love the fish and still do, but they have gone completely crazy with prices on everything. They nickel and dime you for everything. Ridiculous they charge different prices at different times of the day.
The wait staff for the most part is miserable rude people, sad thing, I will continue to go, as I love the fish. I just wish the owner would wake up and notice that some of his wait staff is rude and quite honestly useless. I remember when of Friday you would be waiting outside to get in, if the new owner ever wants that to happen again, he needs to cut some prices, stop all the extra charges for carry out and the after 3 PM up charge on some meals. Oh yea, hire some wait staff that are friendly, not staff that look as though there bored and put out by the customers. I hate to leave this review, as I love the fish. Owner wake up..

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!. Like the other review, I have been going to this establishment since 1972 when I was born. The new owners have ruined it! They raised the prices on everything , which was pretty stupid because a majority of the customers were older ( like my parents , who said they will not go back). It seems like all the waitstaff are 16yr old idiots, who could care less about doing a good job. So like my parents - I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK EITHER! THIS PLACE IS A HUGE WASTE

Remember Scotty Galls??.
I'm dating myself here but I have been going here since I was about 5 with my brother and parents. Back then it was known as Scotty Galls Fish and Chips. He retired and sold everything but the name to the new owners. Food was fabulious, not any more. When the other owners retired, there was a brief time a "coming out of retirement" attempt by Helen, the last Fergie's owner to have sucess again. We went there and it was the worst ever. I guess you can't duplicate something you had years ago and try again.
I remember Scotty Gall's and it was fantastic, then came Fergies. It was great then something happened. Someone changed the recipies and they suck now. If you want the best fish ever it is at Scotty Simpson's on Fenkell. It is like Scotty Galls and Fergies of old. Well worth the drive.
