We had our wedding reception at Burton Manor in July and felt the need to write a review on behalf of Burton Manor. From start to finish they were great ......everything was handled professionally and timely. The night of the room was beautiful and the food and service was INCREDIBLE.!! Thank you to everyone at Burton Manor. I will be recommending you to all of our friends. Thank you.

WONDERFUL11111. I recently had my wedding reception at Burton Manor in Livonia and cannot say enough good things about them. The wedding planner that helped me was easy to work with and had a great ideas. The room was beautiful with these really cool lights that change colors. We booked with their wedding special that was served with a steak and chicken entree, the food was very good and service went above and beyond. The bartenders were also good.

I would highly recommend Burton Manor to anyone.

HORRIBLE: DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER!!!!!. We had our wedding here on 8/8/09. Vendors began arriving about 2:30pm for our 6pm reception and there was no air conditioning. We were told that they were a green facility and they do not turn the A/C on until the guests arrive. Come to find out there was an A/C problem that they were aware of but did nothing to fix. It was 85 degrees inside!!! We had guests who were leaving because it was so hot, our cake was melting and we had to ask them to bring out fans to try and cool things down. The owner initially told us the building had been struck by lightning and fried the units but later changed his story and admitted that he never called a company because he did not have the money to do so!! One of our guests worked in HVAC and he actually went up on the roof and it turns out that had they called a company when the problem started, it could have been fixed in 20 minutes and plenty of time to cool the room before my 200 guests arrived. William B Johnson is a very rude man and will not receive any business from myself or any of my guests EVER again. No matter whether you are thinking of it for a business event or wedding, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!!!
