Customer Sevice Wonderful. My fiancee purchased my engagment ring from here and I loved it! Great looking diamond, great service and best of all great price! The jewelry stores in the mall couldn't come close to getting the quality diamond that we wanted for the price. My diamond looks so much better then any of my friend who got their rings at mall stores or other jewelry stores and paid way more. Highly reccommend!! Plus the salesperson was so helpful and making this a wonderful time.

Total Frauds. My husband, now my ex, purchased a diamond and setting from this store. He is a disabled marine on a fixed income. The salesperson showed him a diamond that was part of a set of earrings. The total purchase was just over $2300.00...that was 4 years ago. Since then the price of gold and diamonds has doubled. I took my ring to two independent licensed and NAJA member jewelers thinking I could at least get maybe $3000 out of the ring. I was astonished that the most they would give me is $700.00. I was absolutely dumbfounded so they both explained that the diamond was chipped when it was mounted and it is an enhanced diamond (meaning the flaws were filled with a glass like material) so it should never be cleaned with a machine or ultrasonic cleaner. Now none of this was explained to my husband, he is disabled, not stupid. So I recently visited the store and acted as a customer who need the receipt for the ring reprinted. I then explained my dilemma with the ring which after 4 years was probably only really worth about $500.00 when it was purchased. I was instructed that they never sell a chipped diamond or an enhanced diamond, but I have both. Trust me I would never be able to afford to switch the diamond. He instructed me to read the fine print on the back of the receipt because their advertised "appraise for double" is only good for 30 days. You have to pay for a independent appraisal from a list they supply, or the ring must be return in perfect condition, same as when it left the store. Well my ring is the same as when it left the store and they will not even just refund me the original purchase price. Both jewelers I went to said they have customers every week from this store and none of the jewelry is even close to the purchase price. And use their appraisers, well that's a scam in itself, like they are gonna say it appraises for less. And what fiancee do you know that is going to ask to have her ring appraised from her new fiancee in 30 days...none. I will be contacting my attorney, any news station that will listen and you will find me picketing in front of the store if it is not resolved with my next visit to the store. Sending ring to North Carolina to a gemologist that does this for a living and has been to court on several cases with several stores, including the Jewelry Factory. My suggestion, save yourself the aggravation of dealing with a company that does not stand behind their promises.

Outstanding Customer Service. I have made 3 recent purchases from The Jewelry Factory, although I only went in initially to window shop !!

The customer service, selection and prices were awesome. I wanted to have the earring backs upgraded on my purchase and they were ready quickly and look beautiful. One of my purchases was a 14k gold chain and when I got home and tried it on, it was shorter than I wanted. No problem, on my return, Adrianna, the best salesperson, showed me alternatives and even checked the safe to find a perfect exchange !! I love all three items and would shop there again and have already shared my experience with friends. Youv'e got to check them out !!

Excellent service and good prices.. I have made two fairly pricy purchases as this location. Both items were custom. Both times, the service I received was excellent. My wedding set--we purchased the stone and setting from this location--is unique and gorgeous, and it appraised for much more than double the price I paid. I saved a significant amount of money there.

The second item I purchased last week. I had ordered a custom cut stone from a gem cutter and was looking for a setting. The stone was very large, so my options were limited to only one setting. It was gorgeous, but expensive, thus I decided to do some more shopping. But after visiting another store I had done business with before, getting a bit of a runaround, and receiving a price quote of more than double the quote I’d received at The Jewelry Factory, I went right back and made the purchase. The ring is GORGEOUS, and the jeweler did a fantastic job setting it. This was no easy job, so I was extremely pleased.

You can bet I’ll be back again. And that other store...? I won’t waste my time again.

As far as the appraisal goes: It didn’t appraise for double, but a custom ring doesn’t qualify for the guarantee. It still appraised for significantly more than I paid (including setting charge). Therefore, it was still a good value.

Awesome Job!. My mother passed away in March at 90. While going through her jewelry, we found her engagement ring, which had to be cut off years ago due to a thinning band and bloating from meds. August would have been her 70th anniversary. On September 3, I decided to bring it to the Jewelry Factory to see if it could be repaired. They said it would take a week. I got a call the next morning (Mom's 91st birthday-and already emotional) saying it was finished. When we picked it up, we could not believe it was the same dull, broken & bent 70-year old ring! My sisters were amazed and regretting their decision to take the intact wedding band & mother rings instead. Thank you SO much. I've NEVER seen this ring look so beautiful in all the years my mother wore it. Looks like it's good to go for another 70 years. That staff (especially Cathy) was very helpful & friendly. JOB SO WELL DONE! Thanks!

Take it anywhere but here to get it sized.... I brought my mom's wedding set in to have it sized to my finger. Before the woman behind the counter even looked it closely, I mean REALLY looked at it. she said she could tell the prongs were worn and would need to be replaced. She had her "jeweler" look at it, and he agreed. Quoted me a price of $270.00 for the sizing and prong re-tipping. AND, they wouldn't size it unless I agreed to have the prongs done. I couldn't afford the $270.00 so I didn't have it done. Not there anyway. I took it to another jewelry store, in Westland. and they did it for $120.00. My math tells me that's well under half of what The Jewelry Factory wanted to charge me. What a scam. I know I did not wear my "rip me off" head band that day either. Shame on you, Jewelry Factory in Livonia....

Beware !!!!!!!!!. Beware!!!!

we picked out a loose diamond and paid $4000. for it had it set and was told it would appraise for double ! I had it appraised at 2 different stored today.

My $4000. diamond ring is worth $1700.

I will be contacting the jewelry factory so will my attorney !!!!

Best Place i've ever been to. I had the best experience of my life, in a jewelry shop, believe it or not, this place ranks #1 for great custome service, and to of the line jewelry, i didnt feel pressured to buy, i actually wanted to spend my money there, i recommend this place to all

Would go back here again. I recently purchased an engagement ring, and was very satisfied with my purchase. The staff was friendly and non-pushy. I received a lot for the amount I paid! I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Impressive Impressive Impressive!!. After researching diamonds and talking to several public and private diamond dealers we got the best quality for the best price in town. Additionally, the service is an exemplary model of what customer service should be in every aspect. They don't work on commission, so they are not pushy at all. Joann was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, patient, and able to immediately determine our needs (style, price range, etc.). Since there are 17 locations owned by one person, they are truly able to give you the best price in town and guarantee it because they will pay you 120% of the sale, if you can find it cheaper. My ring is beautiful!!
