The Ribs. They took the ribs off the menu . Best thing you will ever taste. Also they never let your drink run dry good fast service. Calamari is to die for.

Outstanding Experience. We hadn't been to JA's for a long time but went on Sat., March 5. In spite of being busy (estimated 1 hour wait at 5:30PM), everything about the experience was excellent. We found 2 seats out of the way at the bar and ended up eating dinner there. Mike, the bartender, was attentive without being overbearing. The drinks came quickly. Since we ordered beer and wine, we can't discuss his mixology skills, but from what we could see, they ran a smooth ship behind the bar. The food was absolutely fantastic. Seared ahi tuna salad for my better half while I had the 10 oz filet with bearnaise sauce. The tuna was done quite nice and was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The salad greens were fresh and crisp and the wasabi cilantro vinaigrette dressing was a treat. The greens weren't swimming in the dressing so the flavors of all ingredients mixed well. My steak. Oh, my steak! Where to begin?! A beautiful hunk of beef cooked perfectly for my liking (med-well) the first time out of the kitchen. No sending it back! The seasoning on it was just enough to tingle the taste buds but not too much to overpower the meat. The meat itself was super tender. Sides of smashed potatoes and green beans were also tasty.

The price for the meal wasn't too much more than we would pay at other restaurants but I feel the value we received at J. Alexander’s made it worth it. We made sure to compliment Mike and Jen, the service manager, for making the meal and the experience the delight that it was. We will be returning again...and not waiting so long to do so.

Great Food, friendly service and nice atmosphere. I went on Sweetest Day and it was crowed but the atmosphere was very lively and the people were friendly. The wait was about 20 minutes which is pretty typical for a Saturday night. The drinks were good, the service was to my liking. The server didn't bother us seeing this was a romantic evening and the food was excellent. I have recommended this place numerous times to friends and they have all enjoyed it. Also the price range is moderate.

Big American Food. One of the better of the American food restaurants. Big plates of O.K. food. Friendly service.

Little piece of Jesus. J. Alexander's Steak Maui is heavenly. Any time I have had the opportunity to dine @ Alexander's the food has been great. The service during my last visit was a little slow and the waiter was forgetful, however the food made up for it.

Exllence Place to go. I like the the atmostphere . and I also Like the crowd. Ilike to think of it as single mingle. I like the food. The mashed potatoes which are called mile high made of redskin potatoes are great. The steak is so tender you can cut it with a knife. The drinks are great. Espeically the top shelf long Island ice tea. I tell all of my friends about it and I do go frequently. I vote it the best

The Best of Everything!. This is one of my fiance's favorite restaurants, and now I know why. I love their salad, and the sweet, flaky bread that comes with it is soooo good! I've never had a bad... or even average... meal there. Try the dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives. OK, I'm making myself hungry!
