Charisma Salon & Day Spa

Much better than what I expected.. I went at Charisma Salon & Day Spa for first time and I found their staff to be very friendly, efficient and helpful. I went for hair massage and I felt very comfortable, relaxed and de-stressed. This was exactly what I needed after such a hectic week.

Got an awesome haircut!. I went up to Michigan because of my hubby work. And for the weekend we had scheduled a friend's birthday party and family meeting, I, wanting to look flawless for the occasion, decided to get a haircut and a blow dry. Due to short time and roads covered of snow we looked for the closest salon to our hotel.

My hair was screaming haircut, my ends were terribly dry, almost impossible to style. However, I took myself in an adventure with a picture of how I wanted to look like.

When we got there, we met Dolly. A very nice hairstylist that understood everything I wanted like if she could read my mind, i sat there and she turned my chair against the mirror, when she was done. I couldn't believe it. I was looking exactly like in the picture or even better. I am so happy with my new haircut and I can not be thankful enough. She did such a great job I would just cross the states just for her to cut my hair again.

In other words, I highly recommend Dolly, she knows what she does.…

Stay away from CHARISMA Salon. Stay away from Charisma Salon. 1) When I scheduled my haircut I asked how much it would cost for a cut...I was told $35.00. When I checked out it was $45.00 and I did not even have my hair styled/dried. What a joke. 2) I was not even in the chair for FIVE minutes and the hairstylest had five products lined up in front of me as "MUST HAVES". She spent 45 minutes with me and only 10 minutes was cutting...the rest was selling product. 3) When I checked out I wanted to put my tip on my credit card. I was told that I could not and I had to pay cash or write a check. That would have been nice to know ahead of time as I did not have cash. I was told by the kid at the front desk to go to the ATM in the mall. I would not recomment this place to anyone. Save your money. I don't make $45 in 45 minutes...why should I pay someone that much to trim my hair and not style it?? Women need to stand up to these high priced salons...$45 for a haircut....really!…

Nicole, my eyebrow waxing specialist at Charisma, is the best in the metro Detroit area hands down. I have never come across another person who comes close to her and the job she does! She is very friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about what she does. She makes you feel comfortable and is always focused on you. She definitely makes you look your best and I would recommend her to everyone!

I going back next time for a Massage and Pedicure and order the lunch that the Marriott Hotel brings in from Sweet Lorraine's - Yum…
