OMG! I took my Dyson in 2 1/2 weeks ago per the order of Dyson. They said my vacuum is under warranty for 2 more years and put in an order with Banks to fix my vacuum. I took it in...again 2 1/2 weeks ago. The man at the counter who appeared to be the manager said that it would be 2-3 days. Two and a half weeks later I still had not heard a peep, so I called to see what was going on. They said that it would be $59 to repair. They had not done a thing with it for 2 1/2 weeks and never got ahold of me, never left me a message, nothing. Horrible. Just horrible. I will be suggesting to Dyson that they take Banks off of their preferred repair folks. I would NOT suggest you go there to get yours fixed either. Beware!
Best Shopping Experience – I purchase the Miele S7280 Salsa from Bank's Vacuum. I've never owned a "good" vacuum before but what a difference it makes. I had planned to buy a Dyson DC28 but after speaking with the customer service person from Bank's I decided to upgrade to the Miele. I was going through a Dirt Devil or Hoover every year. I ordered my Miele through the website and it was at my home the next day. I would definitely shop with them again. I've recommended them to all my friends.
Excellent Selection and Pricing – I purchased the Dyson DC25 Animal, which I love. The vacuum I ordered was out of stock so they upgraded me to the DC25 Animal at no charge. I love my new vacuum and would recommend Bank's Vacuum to anyone looking for a great deal on a Dyson.
Great Customer Follow up to Concerns – I purchased a Dyson canister online from Bank's Vacuum. It arrived in a badly damaged unsealed factory box and partially assembled. I called the shop to confirm I purchased a NEW product and not a REFURBISHED or RETURNED one. The first sales associate I spoke to was of no help at all. However, a follow up by another Banks rep confirmed that the box must have been damaged while shipping (not sure why the seals were broken) and the rep went a step further to confirm that Dyson at times will partially assemble a vacuum as part of a quality control test.
I don't know if I'd purchase another vacuum from these folks given the shipping issue, but I will say that they have handled my concerns with the utmost professionalism and have been very attentive. I even got a follow up call from the owner, Ken Banks. I was impressed that he took the time. That doesn't happen too often.
