Carry out service is poor and rude.
Ordered carry out and when I went to pick it up it was not quite ready. The manager was standing there doing nothing by the register and I handed him my charge card indicating that I wanted to pay.I was in a hurry and figuring that he could tally up the bill and run the charge through while we waited for the food.
The manager responded by telling be to wait a minute. I waited a minute while he stood there doing little and then reasked to pay. At that point he rudely responded that he told me to wait and he could not ring me up.
I waited for my food and asked to see the manager and it was the man I had been dealing with. His response was he had a bad day and I rubbed him wrong. I feel he was way out of line and you all should know that this was the extent of his appology.
If you enjoy pleasant eating experiences I suggest you go to PF changs.
The New Wing Hing Should Be Your Northville Chinese Choice. 01/30/2009-The location is convenient to Northville, Plymouth, South Lyon, Novi, Farmington and Farmington Hills. I have been a partron of Wing Hing, and the owners, Eddie and Winnie, for over 16 years now. I have had lunch, dinner and carryout cuisine. The restaurant is very clean, the atmosphere and the music condusive to the ethnicity and oriental character, a good compliment to the delicious variety of food served here. I have NEVER had a meal at Wing Hing that I did not enjoy. The served portions are enough for 2 to intimately share, or have your own meal and enjoy the delicious leftovers the next day. I particularly enjoy the Szechuian style spicy dishes and the hot/sour soup. Winnie makes her own HOT, pepper oil which I would highly recommend. The preparations are fresh, and daily prepared from family recipes. One last note, Patrick makes a great drink!!! Enjoy!!! Judi Sinelli
A good choice. I live in a Appartment right next to The New Wing Hing, and have been there countless times. The food is great, always hot on take outs, and never with any hair. The staff is aways friendly.

I would like to apologize to the User with the grievance in the previous review. I am the GM of the restaurant and was not present during the situation. To give you an idea of how often this situation occurs, a hair in food is like once or twice per year. We serve about 500 meals a day on average. We take great care of keeping our establishment to code. Our commitement to quality of our products speaks for itself. We've been serving our community for 29 years.
How many times have you experienced mishaps at your work?? How about your local fast food burger place?More than 1 or 2 times a year I can guarantee you that. As for the situation that occurred, there was a disagreement with the person in charge and the customer. Our policy dictates that upon review of the item, if we find any foul play such as tampering or inconsistencies from what our customer tells us, we will not offer a full refund of the entire bill. We will however exchange that item with like item. Since she was demanding a full refund for the entire order; we had to refuse her request. It was an unfortunate incident.
HAIR IN MY FRIED RICE - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Do you like hair in your food? if yes, then you will just love New Wing Hing.
I just had carry-out from them yesterday evening. Found a hair in my fried rice. My hair is plat. blonde. The hair I found was shiny black. The is no way this hair came from my head. Yet they refused to admit it was one of their employees.
I called them immediately when I found the hair and they offered me a refund if I brought the food back to them. Well, when I brought it back, they refused to give me a refund. After insisting a full refund... the owner called the police stating that I was threatening him. I did none of the sort.
This was not worth the $20 refund. I left the restaurant in disgust. Shortly after I returned home, the owner had 3 police cars sent to my house. I am no longer allowed on the property of this filthy restaurant. The owner made up some story about me threatening to throw the food against the door. He had the food in the back kitchen so I don't know how I could have done this.
I wish I would have taken a picture of the hair for proof.
Oh ya... after all said and done, I never did get my refund and they refused to give me back the food I paid for.
I was disappointed that I had found hair in my fried rice. I had been a long time patron of the restaurant.
What ultimately disgusted me was the way the whole situation had been handled. Being refused a refund when I found the hair was ridiculous. I just wanted what I had paid for, that's it. The owner was whom I dealt with and called the police on me. He was upset because people in the restaurant heard my complaint and was embarrassed.
I have never been treated so badly by any other establishment. The owner, GM, manager and anyone else involved should be ashamed of how they treated me. This is not how you treat patrons of your restaurant.
This is why I wiil NOT return to this establishment.
I would not recommend this place at all....... The food is very HAIRY!
