Disappointment. The veal dish that I had was as tough as a boot. I really wasn't knock over by the other coarses.

Exceptional place to eat. My wife and I live about 5 minutes from Emily's so we dine there often. What a fabulous place to eat. The food is always interesting and outstanding. The chef keeps the menu fresh and current. Service is outstanding, the wine list is exceptional. If you're stumped as to what wine to have with dinner, just ask Rick, the owner. He continually amazes my wife and me with his matching wine with food. Eat here, you won't regret it.

hidden jewel. We dined there with a large group (15 people). Except for us the place was empty. I don't get it.

The food was wonderful and the service was flawless. Read the comments before going, am not sure I was in the same place.

Best Meal in Detroit. Emily's restaurant in Northville is, by far, the best restaurant in the Detroit area. The service and ambiance are nice and the food is incredible. It is the best place to go in the area for a really special occasion. Emily's is truly Detroit's "best kept secret."

Not Ducky. Food was not very good. I was disappointed to say the least. My duck was dried out. I could hardly chew it. I think it was pre-cooked and frozen.

Hopeful. I have eaten here three times. The first was great, the second was average, the third was also average. On my third visit we were one of three tables there all evening. That seemed odd as Emily's seems to get a lot of press. I remain hopeful as my first visit was memorable.
