Opened in September 1996, it serves as the home of the Ontario Hockey League's Plymouth Whalers. Compuware holds about 3,800 with its NHL rink in place and even more for special events like ice skating shows and wrestling matches. While the Whalers are the marquee attraction, the various Compuware youth programs have become one of the world's best talent factories.
