My family and I planned a trip to the Bahamas and wanted to stay at hotel near the airport because our flight was leaving at 6:00AM. I used my points through Choice Hotels for the room. When we arrived the hotel was under major construction (multi million dollar) but that did not deter the staff from going out of their way. They deeply apologized, were extremely cordial and even gave us a bottle of wine for the small inconvenience. This hotel was already in good shape and yet they are pumping a ton of money in it to make it the best in the area. Nice inside restaurant/bar, very clean rooms and conveniently located. Thank you to the staff at the Comfort Inn Romulus, from the General Manager to the important desk clerks.
