Worst Mexican food in town!

The food is just awful. Those looking for anything resembling decent Mexican food will be very disappointed. They put parmesan cheese on the tacos, mozzarella cheese on the burritos, and a weird tasteless "chili" sauce on nearly everything else.

The refried beans are canned. The chicken is tasteless. The salsa has the texture and appearance of tomato juice. It's completely liquid with no solid particles in it -- that's right, not so much as a tomato seed or bit of onion. The tortilla chips are served in a 4 ounce bowl.

POOR SERVICE

Went to Matador's for dinner last night with my family. The restaurant was not that busy. After patiently waiting a half hour for our nacho and two tacos, we noticed that three other customers that had came in after us were getting their food. I asked our waitress if our order had gotten lost and pointed out that other diners were being served before we were. Our waitress explained that our order will be out shortly. WELL IT NEVER CAME..... After seeing the third customer get their food before us, we got up and told our waitress that we were leaving. All she said was "sorry"..... No, let me check on your order......No, let me see if I can speed things up back there..... No, is there anything I can do to get you to stay.......... Sorry Margaret and Ray, but that's just poor service........

Great Food....

I bought the 2008 entertainment book.....I love buy one get one free or 50% off......in the book was a coupon for the matador so I took my husband for his b-day. The food was great, and my husband is hard to please. The enchiladas were some of the best I've had. They also gave us a complimentary fried ice cream that was awesome....I am giong back even without a coupon so it has to be good!!!!
