Amazing Experience!. My boyfriend and I were looking for the perfect engagement ring.. We had gone back to Kay Jewelers where we purchased my first ring, and we were not happy with the service, so I started shopping locally at family owned places when I found Trenton Jewelers. I called there looking for a certain cut of diamond, which I found out is not common because they can be pricey. But they had 3!!! I was in shock, I literally hung up the phone and drove straight there! The owners wife helped me and was very very nice. The even held the ring I thought was perfect with no money or anything until we had time to come back. We went back 6 days later and they STILL had my ring I was in love with in the back with my name on it! I couldnt believe it, i was SO happy. We purchased the ring, and now are planning a fab wedding! THANK YOU TRENTON JEWELERS!! I will never shop any place else!!
DO spend time/money here. I have been here several times, and not once been upset with service. Sure, some of the women working there aren't the most enthusiastic women around but Wayne couldn't love what he does MORE. You can clearly tell that he loves what he does with a deep deep passion. I recently had my engagement ring enhanced with 2 more stones, I've had rings sized, hes built a few pieces for my mother. ALL of which couldn't have turned out better. If you have a decent amount of money and want something done from scratch that you won't see anyone else with...GO HERE. You will get what you pay for. Custom jewelry is a dream for any person, you won't be let down.
Buyer beware. My story: I wanted to purchase a man's promise ring for my boyfriend. When we sat down with the owner, he showed us bands we could order from a book. He stated that if we didn't like the band, we could return it. He never showed us the band when it came in, or I would have told him this was not the color of gold that he would want. Scott wanted a dark gold. He placed the stones, supposedly, and told us that he would put two other stones in another color green on the sides. When I picked up the ring the two greens together looked hideous. It was so ugly, neither of us liked it on Christmas day. So I tried to take the ring back, because I didn't trust him anymore, and the owner said to me that it was a special order and he would agree to change the stones and try to make the gold band darker, but he also said something to me that really pissed me off. He said, "I think what your problem is, is that Scott really doesn't want to wear a ring." I couldn't believe what an ass he was. He lied to us about being able to return the band, plus he never showed it to me when it first came in. He should have showed us the stones and exactly how it would look before putting it together. I will never go back to this store again. The ladies were nice, but the owner talks to you in this slow, funeral parlor demeanor, and it's nauseating. I turned in some gold of mine, which he never told me how much it was worth, he weighed in in the back room, I am sure it was worth at least $500., plus I paid an additional $350 for this ring that we do not like. Plus the owner said he has been making Mason rings for 20 years, and he didn't even know what the symbols stood for, when Scott asked him, so he took away our trust in him completely.
My Perfect Wedding Ring!. I dreamed of a tanzanite wedding ring with baguettes but could never find exactly what I wanted. Trenton Jewelers created exactly what I wanted. They were very patience and helpful. Wayne and his staff did not want me to leave there with nothing less than the perfect ring and I did just that. I would recommend them highly and I will never purchase fine jewelry from anyone else.
