Caring and respectful.. My father has been a resident of Hope Nursing Care for close to three years now. He has been given excellent care by the staff. Myself or other family members are there very often and we hear and observe how staff treats other patients too. Besides working very hard, they are always very respectful and caring to the patients. That is what is most important to us. It's amazing how many staff members it takes to keep your loved one safe, clean, healthy, fed and entertained 24/7. Sure it's not the prettiest place from the outside but they keep it very clean. My father has his wits about him so I would know if something wasn't clean or if the food wasn't up to par - he would let us know. The only thing I've noticed that could use improving is the cafeteria furniture needs replacing. One wish list would be to have a fenced in area where residents, staff and family could go outside in warm weather and enjoy the outdoors.

Poorly managed!. My mother lived here for nine months in 2006, many times the nurses would talk down to me when I wanted to discuss my mothers care. When my mother passed away, I found out to my horror that someone else picked her personal items up (which included some unreplacable photos)...apparently a person can do this by putting a star by a patients name and nothing more. Do not send your loved one to this place!
