Blatant disregard for Michigan smoking laws. Live band on Thursdays, and $1.00 beers - BUT, owner completely ignores Michigan smoking laws. At lease a dozen smokers in the bar, bartender included, using plastic cups with water as ashtrays. Disgusting! Sat down at bar after two smokers left their disgusting plastic cup ashtray with several butts floating in the water. Asked the bartender "Please get rid of this awful mess", and all she did was move the cup 10 feet down the bar, for another smoker to use. The Wayne County or Michigan Dept. of Health should shut this bar down.

great people. I had a great time up at bumpers bar in westland michigan and the people is great too specail the food is good too when there are live bands like this past week end

Best Times. I do not live by Bumpers, but I do call on customers in the area from time to time. One customer met me for lunch there in March, and since I drive up to 45 minutes one way to get back there. Billy(one of the owners) always greets me by name- even if I haven't been there for weeks. The waitstaff is very personable and the food is great. Can't say enough good things about the place. It may not look like much, but it is definately my favorite place to eat and drink!

Absolutely Awful. Since being taken over by the new management, who is too busy partying with the staff when there, has progessively gone downhill. Most of the furniture has seen it's better days, the bathroom is filthy and smells of urine. You have to hunt down your waitstaff most times or else just go to the bar. The pro's of inexpensive beer and the occasional good band does not override the cons. Do yourself a favor and pay an extra dollar or two for a beer somewhere where you get waited on and don't have to hold your breath to use the bathroom.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!. Bumpers is a GREAT place to go--definitely the best in the area. They have everything from an amazing weekday lunch menu to jammin' weekend nights. Excellent drink specials, fun bands, dancing, games and pool---this is THE place to be!
