Phone price quote doubles when you get in the door.. They lie about their prices on the phone to get you in the door. Once you are in their chair they tell you that the actual price is DOUBLE what you were told. I refused to pay any extra than what I was quoted, so the owner (Kim) told me to come back the next day, and she would do my highlights and honor the price SHE gave me. (HOW BIG OF HER!)

So, the next day comes, and what a suprise!! Because they did a full color on my whole head the day before, there was too much pigment in my hair, making it impossible to get blonde highlights. Orange, yes, but not blonde like I wanted. Kim told me I would need to wait a month to let the pigments settle, then come back and do the highlights. She did NOT say that it would be for free, although it should have been. Seeing as they are supposed to be professionals, it should be common knowledge that you can't do a full color one day and then expect to do blonde highlights the next. I was offered no discount, no money back, no gift certificates, NOTHING. Hair media, (Kim in particular) does not value her customers and her word doesn't mean a damn thing. If she says you will get something, make sure you do before you hand that greedy, ugly, beeiotch a dime.

I had been a customer of Hair Media for close to ten years, and because of this, I will NEVER EVER go back. Not while Kim is the owner.
