Great shopping experience and customer service!!

I've been shopping at party land for the past nine years and went in yesterday to buy graduation products for my son and again was impressed with the customer service I received from the owner and his son! They helped me with all my needs! I'm shocked to read the other reviews because I've never had a problem with the owner. Great store with a lot of products to choose from. I will continue to shop there!!!

Return Policy is a joke! Owner is a nightmare!

I took my 3 year old in to pick out a theme for her party. She chose a pattern that I knew I had some leftovers of in my party supply storage bin at home. So I asked the owner about the return policy and he said no problem as long as you have the reciept. So I kept everything in the original bag with the reciept and a week or two after the party I went to return my unused, unopened items. He said that he couldn't give me cash back because it was 30 days...mind you it was no more than 45 days! he wanted to give me store credit that would expire in a year. I said no...that was not fair. He still carries the pattern, it's not seasonal or clearance, it's not opened, it has his store price stickers on it...he would not budge. I said that was absurd and I was never coming back and i'd let all of my friends and family know. I live within a half a mile of there but i will NEVER shop there again - I don't care if I have to go 10 miles to the nearest party supply store. That guy is a nightmare. He yelled at me...then he told me to send an email to corporate. Oh, you bet I will...and to the B B B and to City Search, and to the Chamber of Commerce and to anyone else who might care. I NEVER have return problems. I am a very reasonable person. This was just INSANE to me.

Avoid the owner!

I went in to buy one balloon and a happy 50th birthday banner to decorate someone's desk after hours. The owner tried to push every 50th birthday item that they sold on me, I wasn't decorating a hall!!! just a desk, geez!!! I'll not go in there again although I do receive the coupons on occasion, not worth the hassle/harassment.
- Pros: good location, ample parking
- Cons: pushy owner, for what? a $2 balloon sale?
