Depends on who's doing the cooking. Overall it is good but once in a while I'd try something new and it it seems like they dumped a gallon of sodium on the dish.

May be the best Chinese in Michigan. Ihave been going to Szechuan since the early eighties. I have never had a bad experience! They have the best egg drop soup period. I have never seen this place even slightly dirty.

The food is alway prepared well prepared favites are Chili pepercorn trio ,Gerneral Tsu,Cashew chicken, Sesame beef.

Always awesome. I've been going to Szechuan Canton probably at least once a month for 20 years. NEVER once had a bad experience. Their Hot and Sour Soup is the best I've had anywhere. I can't begin to understand some of the negative reviews, unless they're from competitors who wish they had food this good. Be careful ordering full strength, unless you like it spicy. The Lunch menu is fairly extensive, and moderately priced.

Excellent Food!. I have been here several times and its never dissapointing. The food is awesome and prices are affordable. The service is so/so but the service reminds me of what you would expect in "china town" in a big city so Im okay with that. There arent many good authentic chinese rest. that you can find in metro Detroit where the food is always consistant and tasty...a must have!!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have been going to this restaurant for several years and was very disappointed today when a cockroach ran across my table. When I told the waiter he said "It happens all the time when it rains" and pointed to the hole in the ceiling. I was sitting at the table on your left when you walk in.

If cockroaches are normal during the middle of the day, I hate to think what happens in the kitchen when this place is closed.

It is off my list

If you want the best you can find it here.... I have been coming here for 15 yrs. and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and their general tsos chicken is untouchable. Don't pass this place by!

Great food!. We love this place! We have been customers for the past few years. The appetizers, soup and main dishes are all wonderful. Served quickly, hot and tasty.

Terrible food!. We ordered two dishes:

the string bean, which was premade and tasted okay.

but the chicken dish contained mushrooms taken from a can, the chicken itself was extremely bad tasting

and not fresh.

I would never ever go back to this place.

These reviews are way off!!. When i arrived i felt immediately like i was bothering them by coming to their place. The staff was very short with me. When I asked questions I got short answers and felt like they just wanted me to hurry up and order.

The more I looked around I saw how dirty it was inside. When the food finally arrived after a long wait with no refils..I was disappointed by the taste. It was very bland and didn't taste good at all. For the price i expected much more!!

I will never eat here again!!

Consistently Great Food --- We Love It!. My hubby and I have been customers of this restaurant for the past 7 years. We love the food. We've never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The food is flavorful, authentic, cooked just right and fresh..... Good prices and great service. We get outstanding value for the money.
