what a wonderful experience !! i never write reviews but this time i have to .. i get my hair colored and trimmed once a month . my regular stylist was out sick and i was in a pinch . on my drive home i always see urban hair studio so i thought to my self ( why not ) . in i walk and Stephanie was there not only to greet me but take care of my hair needs . WOW !! what a wonderful job she did . the only bad news is for my old stylist who lost a customer since i will continue to frequent urban hair studio . great ladies great atmosphere great stylist

Looking for a great hair salon? Urban hair studio is by far one of the best salons around! The service is excellent and I'm always so pleased with my hair! The staff is extremely friendly and always having a smile on their faces. :) I would recommend this place to everyone.

Horrible experience on more than one occasion!. You can't post this with 0 stars or I would have. Mary, the new owner and a stylist, was who our appointment was with. Took my children there some time ago and she was obviously high as a kite. Their hair was cut unevenly. I have a huge problem with this completely unprofessional behavior. First of all, she was almost 20 minutes late. On top of that, she could barely keep her eyes open, speech was slurred and she couldn't maintain her train of thought. I will never return. A friend of mine went there recently for a simple hair cut. She was there for over 2 hours. To start with, Mary was over an hour late. An assistant did her wash/dry because she was so far behind. Then during my friend's cut, the stylist/owner actually stopped to touch up her own hair...looked in the mirror, fixed her style and hairsprayed it. Then stopped a second time to get a bandaid after saying she cut her finger a few days prior. My friend said she was obviously under the influence of something. I would absolutely recommend taking your money elsewhere. I feel bad for the other employees there, as their boss needs some serious rehab.
