Ordered a pizza today and it was BURNT, not just burnt, it was inedible. How do you look at a completely burnt pizza and still send it out to a customer? I'll be going back to JJ's from now on.

Amazing food.. Best pizza I've ever had in my entire life. The staff is incredibly friendly. And they have the best toppings. Can someone say spinach? So good.

I miss this place. I moved to Georgia 2 years ago, and I miss this place! Loved Todd! He was always good to me, and would stop what he was doing to talk with me. The pizza was always fantastic!

If you worked a day @ sportsmans pizza..... I worked there as well... And todd was insane. Nice one minute, and would make u cry over a mistake u made on a pizza 5 minutes later.. He is nice when customers come in, but that is certainly not how he treats his employees.. So to the person flying off the handle that sportsmans is the best, as you said, you stop in when your in town.. you only know the told that loves your business.. not the todd that cooked that pizza before you walked in.. man has mental issues and i dont care how good the pizza is he has my worst reviews forever for the way i was treated.. bad people don't deserve to suceed.

To the writer harassing Embarrassed. Not only do I disagree with the article written by BBFlyer. But why the harassment towards the family's son?? I actually used to work there. I worked there for 5 months. It was the scariest job I ever had. Not because it was fast paced but about two months into the job, one of the other workers put too much mushroom on a pizza. Consequence? Todd started screaming and punching ovens. It's very very unnecessary. He is a very christian guy but he was always telling workers not to talk to people unless they were also christian. A lot of my friends were not and so he said it was unacceptable unless I talked to them about Christianity. I was not paid minimum wage. Any time i burned myself I wasn't allowed to run cold water on it because it is so "fast paced" It was very ridiculous. He is a very scary man and he knows it. He has a crazy temper. The food is good but you have no idea what it is like to work there. I had to clean the back room once and there were a couple beer cans... If your child worked there you would hate this man. The food there is still very good. But as far as Todd goes, he is unstable and not the wonderful family man you make him out to be.

Can you say embarrassed is an idiot?. OK! Perhaps you haven't read enough 'bout [sic] this place. Sportsmans Pizza and Todd (the owner) are the epitome of an upstanding, quality and honorable family, christian business. It sounds to me like you are doing this as a form of harassment at the behest of the competition....which demonstrates the lack of depth of your own knowledge. If your son cannot work for a fast-paced, profitable and ethical local job employer, then perhaps you need to find him a job where his expectations and requirements are not very high. My guess is that you probably already have looked and guess what~there are probably problems there too, if he was even lucky enough to find suitable employment. As far as your son believing in himself again, well if you are relying on an employer to bring happiness and personal comfort, you probably have been doing a poor job at home...Now for the, as you write "FOOD", well, Sportmans Pizza is about the best I have ever tasted and I am a pizza snob....I dare you to ask Todd about any of his ingredients, he hand selects every single ingredient...he knows good pepperoni from bad and special orders from around the country to ensure his customers are receiving the best and freshest pizza and food for their hard earned money...my only regret is that I live too far away to enjoy Sportmans on a regular basis, but believe me, when we come home to Michigan, Sportsmans is one of the first stops! I would venture to say that if I had your views on a business such as Sportsmans Pizza, a pillar of the Detroit/Downriver business and restaurant community, I would be 'embarrassed" also.....please Mr or Ms. embarrassed, I invite you and your son to go elsewhere, that way there is more for the rest of us who truly know the difference! Good Luck, it sounds like your going to need it...

Can you say abuse?. OK! I've read enough bout this place. I had a son who worked here and was constantly verbally abused. the reason why the staff always look happy is because todd yells at them if they arent smiling!! If you have a child looking for a job, dont send him or her there. They get lectured and preached at constantly. SOme reviews are saying how this is a christian business, thats fine and all but i have a problem when i go in here to pick up my food and i get preached to constantly!! I dont believe the staff is happy, its just jobs are so hard to find so they settle.I'm glad my son no longer wrks there, he is now able to believe in himself again.... AS FAR AS THE FOOD, VERY GREASY ,HALF THE TIME BURNT, AND NOT ENOUGH TOPPINGS. OH WAIT!! THATS PROBABLY BECAUSE MY SON WORKED THERE! GO RIOPELLES!!!!!!

Amazing!!. Excellent Pizza! Great service! My wife and I can't get enough of their cheese bread.. Salads are good as well.

One important thing whether it's pick up or delivery their pizza is always hot, unlike Little...you know who... Not hot and Unready.

Best Pizza Downriver. Crispy crust, always fresh, quality ingredients, dipping sauce is a little spicy better then the normal marinara, be careful when eating the pizza rolls, while they are very tasty, there is enough grease in them to feel your arteries clogging as you eat
