TOO expensive, terrible food

I dont know why people crowd into this place. Only thing i can think of is cuz there s no other mexican around. It s too expensive and the food is so Americanized....almost like eating Taco Bell.

They charge $2.00 for a soda. What a ripoff!

• Pros: No other Mexican restaurant
• Cons: Bring a lot of Dinero!

Too Smokey

Mexican Gardens has good food, fair prices and decent service but the SMOKE is too much.

First you have to walk through and/or wait in the smokey bar area to get a table and then even is the non-smoking area it still smells like smoke. I have made a promise to no longer go to places that reek of smoke.

Great food, crowded on Friday, Saturday nights

The food is great and the prices too. My husband loves to come here, and I not being a mexican food fan can find things I enjoy too (though they look at me funny when I order french fries and a chicken qusidea). But don't go on a Friday or Saturday night and expect to just sit down. The are ALWAYS jammed packed, but the wait is usually about 30 minutes, and with the bar and large screen TV, the time flys by.
