Don't be fooled by this place or Streamlight. I have not had a working Streamlight flashlight for years. I work midnights and finally got to the only Streamlight authorized dealer for their "lifetime warranty". I went during my lunchtime while in training, since Winder only keeps banker's hours
I took the flashlight with me and told the "repairman" that the battery would not hold a charge. Without even listening, he disappeared for approximately 10 minutes. Upon return I was told the failure was due to the on/off switch and that upon charging the battery, the flashlight would work again. Being tired and pressed for time, I took his word and returned to training.
Of course, I charged the battery overnight and the flashlight did not work. Upon making phone contact, I explained the situation and the woman I spoke with told me the repairman, "...did you a favor by fixing the switch". She then asked for my credit card number so she could send me a new battery, which I figured was the problem to begin with. Foolishly I gave her my information and by Friday night, I had the wrong model battery.
These people have no respect for those of us who work midnights and don't have time for their foolishness. What more could I do to get the proper working equipment I needed than to bring it in? I will never do business with either Winder or Streamlight again. Must be nice to have a Monday through Friday dayshift job sitting behind a desk all day.
