A dissappointment.
Sadly, our last two visits there were a disappointment. The food was substandard and sadly the service was unattentive. Though the restaurant was almost empty I and our friends were removed from a
booth which we were told was for five or more diners.
I have enjoyed the Cass Cafe for years but it seems as if it is slipping.…
slow. Slowest service on earth. The food is alright but the service is so slow. It takes forerver. The atmosphere and crowd are different but they dont overcome the slow service.
Mostly young and hip crowd enjoy college fare..

Although it's near a college, I'd say the menu was a bit more sophisticated than the usual college fare and they have daily specials. No iceberg lettuce in your salads here!
