One of the cultural center's power-spots is more than just a pretty face..
The Scene
Many diners choose this cultural center hot-spot as a prelude to an evening including a show at Orchestra Hall, which is located next door. The decorating scheme tries a bit too hard but manages to convey that money is to be spent.
The Food
The chef is still into high-rise construction, but pays attention to flavors as well with some Asian-inspired dishes, some American and some French. Chicken is stuffed with duck and foie gras sausage; filet mignon is served with gorgonzola, whitefish is crusted with spinach and parmesan, with corn pudding on the side. Mozzarella is house-pulled and balsamic vinegar is 20 years old.
