All the best parts of Dance Fever (minus Adrian Zmed).. In Short
Tall, concrete walls keep the rest of the world at bay at this urban hangout. Interestingly, a large tree sprouts right up from a patio. For those who abhor nature and it's tired act, video games and pool are allowed in a room where spectators watch from two levels of seating. For the thirsty crowd, throw back a cocktail at the L-shaped bar in the main room. The throbbing beat of high-energy dance music is a constant that might make some rejoice but could have some reach for the aspirin.

Madonna Partied Here. Menjo's is an old Detroit staple in the gay bar scene. Madonna had partied there back in late 70's. They pull in the best Guest DJ's from all over the country, so the dance floor is all ways full energy. Better than some of the dance clubs I have been to in L.A.!

OHMIGAWD!. Okay I admit I've gone here for eek! fifteen years, and weathered the disquiet storm that was Chad Novak (double eek!) I hate this place, and yet i must love it, for what else does detroit really have . Although the gay scene's exploded all over the city, Menjo's is still the affectionate home of cologne-doused, JC Penny-rave clothing, blonde-bilevel twink chasers, and the men (like me) who like to make fun of them. Go Detroit circuit queens!
