A economical alternative in the heart of Eastern Market.. In Short
Zef's Coney Island is the beneficiary of the long lines that are inevitable with breakfast at Eastern Market. The yellow awning in front is a beacon to those who seek an inexpensive, low-frills breakfast or lunch. A comprehensive breakfast menu offers all the favorites, from pancakes to omelets. Burgers, sandwiches and coney dog combos are also available. Fish and chips fans are in utopia here, the fries are some of the best around town.

A Necessity for an Eastern Market Visit. We've been going to Zef's for breakfast since the college days and have actually considered shipping the Farmer's Omelet out of state Overnight Express due to it being unmatched anywhere we've ever been! The food is great, the coffee is fresh, the prices are cheap.... What else can you ask for except the [non-greasy] hash brown recipe!

Good and Cheap!!. Great breakfasts, but even better "sandwiches". The gyros is huge and wonderful and the Zef's grill is fantastic.
