good service. this is a very good place to enjoy with your family. they have great food and they treat their guess like they are at home. vivos is a great place and the owners are very good people.

Best Bloody Mary's, Mussels, Burgers. Vivio's is my favorite place to go to on every Saturday morning. I start with one of their famous Bloody Mary's that come with a "new dill" pickle and a beer chaser. You can order it mild, half-n-half, or spicy. My favorite is the spicy that is made with their own marinated vodka.

Then, I order their steamed mussels which in my opinion are the best in town. They are served in their own pot. Burgers are great too - it's one of the only places I go to where I feel safe ordering my burger medium rare.

Make sure you ask for Shirley - she may be the oldest waitress in the city of Detroit, but she is still the fastest!!!

After drinking a few Bloody Mary's you can go shopping in the Eastern Market and buy all kinds of goodies that you may or may not need.

Vivios: Vino, Vodka, Vittles.. This is a quintessential Detroit watering hole stuck right in the middle of historic Eastern Market. It's also now at the epicenter of the Detroit Lions/Ford Field juggernaut. Football fans walking into Vivio's out of curiosity (or in desperate need of a bathroom after a morning of tail-gating), will find a rare mix of locals, bohos, old-timers, hipsters, slumming yuppies and boozy intelligentsia rubbing elbows at the bar. The drinks flow, the food is far better than you might expect and the service is, by far, the best in the city. With an upstairs bar opening soon, Vivio's will soon be able to accomodate twice the crowd. All the better for us.
