My friend and I were visiting Detroit
on a Friday night from out of state and decided to eat here. We found the service Awful (see below) and pizza very greasy.
First, we were rushed even though it wasn't closing time yet...What is worse, at the end when the the server (white male about 5'7) brought the check, I wrote in the tip and he immediately dived towards the table and said "thank you" and quickly grabbed the check and sprinted to the cash register. I noticed all the servers at the cash turned around and stared at us for some reason. When I got a chance to look at the receipt, I realized THEY HAD ALREADY ADDED 20% TIP!!! I have never seen anything so moronic, cheap, boorish, presumptuous and RUDE!
And what is worse is that this moron was carefully eyeballing me when I was signing the check and filling in the tip, to make sure he gets the ADDITIONAL tip that I wrote in before I realized that they have already added tip!
I would never have given them the additional tip if I knew they had been so callous to go ahead and add it to the price of the food.
Whatever you do in Detroit, AVOID THESE STUPID CROOKS!!
Pizza not tasty.

Best pizza. Great place to bring folks from out of town. All locations have good food. Really, really like the sea-food pizza. Even good as left-overs.
Best Pizza in the D!. If you wanna do it Chicago Style in the D, Then this is the spot. Deep Dish Pizza, just like in the Chi, but with a Detroit twist to it. Good food and crowd. Right in Greektown.
Love Their Deep Dish!. Their deep dish pizza is soo good. This location is no quite as good as the one in greektown, but I still like their salad, chicken strips, and pizza. Also, the service is somewhat average at best.
Pizza Papalis' three-inch-high pizzas are worth the wait, and can only be eaten with a knife and fork..
In Short
Elbow-to-elbow pizza fans crowd the place waiting for their pies. Expect a 35- to 40-minute wait while a deep-dish bakes. If time is of the essence ask for a flat pizza. Crusts are softer than most and more like pie crust, made with flour shipped in from New York. Because the pies are so thick, the dominant motif is cheese, with sauce taking a backseat. A few hearty pastas are also on the menu.
Best Pizza Ever!. The pizza is great, and so is the Antipasto salad! Once I discovered this place, there is no other pizza place that will stand up to it. Customer service is excellent, and you never leave hungry! If you love the dressing for the salad, you can purchase it right there.
Detroit outdoes Chicago!. THE place for pizza in Detroit. A great 2 story restaurant in the heart of Greektown with awesome atmosphere. You will not find better deepdish anywhere- including Chicago. Absolutely the best crust I've ever tasted, and piled with cheese and toppings. 2 slices will do you. Be warned, you'll wait a while before you get your food. Expect to pay ~$15 for a pie.
